2020 Official Championship Logo

Every season, the last team standing is tasked with creating the official championship logo. Having waited a decade since the organization’s last NBA title, this one was understandably a little more special. Not your typical mark, once the championship was won, this logo would reach millions of fans instantly and be present on all Lakers properties—social media channels, website, television broadcasts, variety of retail stores, etc.

The requirements were simple: (1) include the all-important Larry O’Brien trophy, (2) an ode to the late legend Kobe Bryant, and (3) include elements that make this uniquely Lakers.
